This week at Football Film Room…
Steelers Defense Caught With Their Pants Down vs. the Packers
I don’t want to take anything away from the performance of Jordan Love and the Packers Offense. It’s hard to complete 20 passes in a row in practice, let alone a game. And we’ve always known how difficult Matt LaFleur’s scheme can be to defend.
C.J. Stroud is Starting to Look More Comfortable
After the Texans’ 0-3 start, I wrote that they needed to do a better job of helping C.J. Stroud feel more secure in the pocket. The effects of pressure can compound for any quarterback, meaning he isn’t only impacted on plays where there actually is pressure. He’s also effected when there’s a clean pocket because he starts to anticipate pressure.
Through the Linebacker's Eyes: Robert Spillane
It took a while for the Patriots to get the upper hand against the Browns on Sunday, but in the second half, they finally broke through. And after taking a 16-7 lead, the defense slammed the door shut.

Cover-4 Palms
Cover-4 “Palms” is a great variation of Cover-4 and a good way for a defense to mix up its looks.
