Breaking Down Lawrence's 14-yard TD Pass to Jakobi Meyers vs. the Colts
It’s been an up-and-down season for Trevor Lawrence. But he has started to show more proficiency in recent weeks, averaging over 8 yards per attempt in 3 straight games. He saved one of his best (and cleanest) games of the season for the Colts on Sunday, and the Jaguars took control of the AFC South as a result.
Lawrence’s first touchdown pass of the game gave Jacksonville a 14-7 lead, and they never looked back.
The Jaguars had a 1st-and-10 from Indy’s 14-yard line and came out in a 2x2 formation with the running back offset to the right. The Colts would play cover-3 in response:
