2026 NFL Draft: Ohio State WR Carnell Tate

Many have Carnell Tate as the top receiver in this year’s draft, although I don’t think there’s a clear-cut favorite.
Either way, if you want to simplify the evaluation of the wide receiver position, there are 4 places you can look:
Can he win at the line of scrimmage and beat press-man?
Can he win at the top of his stem and create separation out of his break?
Is he reliable at catching the ball?
Can he make defenses pay after the catch?
Tate has 3 of those things, and that means his NFL team will have a lot to work with.
